Map: Tomb of the Spider Queen Players: Galaxy, Dalamar, Ipi, Fish, Sonya
In a replay I saw 3 separate fragments:
1) a 5v3 situation we lost into a 3v3 chasing us (not kidding), Tyrael and Zeratul were not joining the attack on base
2) a 4v1 situation where we are about to destroy a fort and instead of engaging Valla we run away from her ult
3) a 5v5 situation where we go for Jaina and kill her but lose focus completely over who to target next and 4 of us start hitting the tank instead of Valla (who used her ult) or Nazeebo
In that match we were up 3 levels at some point, 18 kills versus 5, took bosses twice, and at the end we lost due to situation 3 abovementioned. There was also a possibility to end the game by not going boss but go core immediately 5v2.
I was like "Why are we doing this wrong ?"
The answer is : being afraid, not having clear map overview, tunnel visioning, not calling out correctly.
The being afraid can be overcome by calling out what needs to be done.
The map overview takes practice.
The calling out as well, since it required have a clear head and remain calm. That means we should remain calm during the whole match and it's something for me to work on as well.
p.s. out of discretion the video will only be sent to the people in that match
