Overview of usefull sources of information about the game.
I'll keep this thread updated
A. Essential links
#1 Watch livestreams KhaldorTV is the main streamer for the European HOTS community but he is also one of the best commentators on the game out there. He covers all the pro-team tournaments and provides them of insightfull comments about why team comps or talents are chosen etc while for the NA tournament streams check out HOTS main youtube channel
#2 To increase your gameplay level you'll need to invest a lot of time into knowledge and practice constantly, read and keep re-reading this hero league 101 guide from Team Liquid, its a great guide, also this high mmr gameplay guide
from GosuGamers and the typical mistakes low mmr players make (also from GosuGamers) highlights attention points.
#3 Know In-Game mechanics via HeroesFire is your main tool since it has a talent calculator, talent overview, abilities overview and very good hero guides. Also take a look at guides such as HotsCounters to read more about how to counter a specific hero or Weskimo which has guides for improving your draft pick, team comp, hero or map knowledge. A recent discovery was GetBonkd (I didn't choose the name lol) which focuses on a small set of builds but with interesting explanations.
#4 Know your enemy via HotsLogs uploads your replays automatically for you and will calculate statistics including MMR etc but the main interesting thing for me is that you can check your game history and see all talent choices both your team as opponent team.
B. Other usefull links
# This tips&tricks section and heroescounters is worthwile taking a look
# TempoStorm US team publishes hero guides at tempostorm.com/heroes-of-the-storm/guides
# For map timer information on maps check this link but we might create separate threads for each map later.
